Italian language courses
Live Italian classes from A1 to B2 — a separate line of teaching from the application service, for students who want to land in Italy already speaking the language rather than starting once they arrive.
Each level runs as a weekly live class, taught by native Italian teachers in private or group lessons, with every session recorded. Course materials, homework, and feedback sit in one place, and a professor-updates feed keeps you in the loop between classes.
The four levels
Each level builds straight on the one before it, from your first word through to holding a real conversation.
- A1BeginnerStart from your first word — greetings, everyday verbs, ordering a coffee, asking directions.
- A2ElementaryHold a longer exchange, talk about the past and your plans, follow the gist of what's said around you.
- B1IntermediateGet by on your own in Italy, explain opinions, handle university and admin Italian. Often the level a course asks to see.
- B2Upper-intermediateClosing on fluency — follow a real conversation, argue a point, read an article without stopping. Expected for direct admission to many Italian-taught degrees.
Private or group, your call
Same four levels, same live teachers — pick the format that fits how you learn.
Private lessons
One-to-one with your teacher, at your pace, on a slot that fits your week. Fastest way through a level, and every question gets answered on the spot.
See private lessons →Group lessons
A small class of other students at your level, for the lower rate and the conversation practice that comes from learning alongside people who are figuring it out with you.
See group lessons →How every level runs
- Live every week
- A fixed weekly slot on Google Meet with native Italian teachers, private or group, at a time that fits your week.
- Homework that gets read
- You hand work in and it comes back with a teacher's corrections. If something needs another go, you redo it rather than moving on with a mark against your name.
- A professor-updates feed
- Between classes, a running feed keeps you posted — a rescheduled session, extra materials, a note on what's coming next.
