CEFR A1 — beginner
For students starting from zero — no prior Italian at all. This is where nearly every student headed to Italy for the first time begins, whether you're studying in Italian or in English and just want to get by day to day.
What a live class looks like
Classes run live on Google Meet, on a fixed weekly schedule, so you always know when to show up. Every session is recorded and posted straight after class — if you miss one, or want to rewatch a point that didn't land the first time, it's there. Nothing about the format is asynchronous-only: you get real conversation practice with a live teacher every week.
Modules, materials, and homework
Each module comes with its own materials — PDFs, vocabulary lists, and practice exercises — so class time goes to speaking and real practice, not copying notes. Homework gets real teacher feedback, and if something needs another attempt, you resubmit it rather than just moving on with a mark against your name.

Staying in the loop
A professor-updates feed keeps you posted on anything that changes — a rescheduled class, extra materials, a note on an upcoming topic — so nothing gets missed between sessions.
